He loves Her = She loves Him

Video credit: Audrey Rose Sacris

I know this might be long overdue. You never heard much from me talking seriously about anything in particular when we meet but here goes nothing.

It was I who invited her to join the community. It as I who encouraged her to spread her wings, meet new friends and open herself up because there is more to life than what it "is". I knew what she have been through. Oh that pain that loving brings, when you give your heart to someone and it ends up betrayed and broken. Oh that pain of losing the one you love, the one that you hope to be with. But then again, life goes on. You move on whether you like it or not. Whether it takes a few days to many years, life goes on. Life must go on! You must move on. As if you had any other choice?!

I was glad to see her happy and revived from her past. I was rejoicing to know that she was safe and confident again in His love. That kind of bond which no human can surpass. That relationship that is as personal and sweet that will last. With that solid assurance that she will be fine, it was easier to go, be away and to do the things I wanted to do. And that time came, a message I received asking permission to make a move on her. He said he likes her and wants to pursue. I unselfishly and threateningly told him then, "Sure, it's fine. That's great but please make sure you treat her well. Or else!!"

Although I haven't seen how you really are together nor asked how you we're as often. I was hoping and praying that you just love one another. Seeing your captured moments and online status, I was assured you were doing good. But then again even though I don't ask, even if I am not there my eyes and ears always show up with something to say. Indeed, nothing is perfect and that's a fact that has been going on beyond my years. There you go swept off your feet by the one who came along your street. I was excited to say the least.

A promise of forever and till death do you part. A commitment forever carved in your heart. The road ahead is not as easy as it sounds. In your moments of sorrow and doubt, remember Him of whom everything began. This I always remind myself because I often forget. I urge you as well to remind yourself as often as you forget. According to Matthew 6:33 as it is written, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you"

Let me tell you this, everyone has its flaws and failures. Shortcomings here and there. I won't be a judge to you but I want to encourage you. I would say "you don't have to prove the world anything but you owe to yourselves that love". That love that God himself gave from above. At the end of the day, you are not just sweethearts nor just lovers anymore but you have been given the responsibility to care more. The proof of your love is right there between your fingers. If you need to see more proof, then look at that gift of life, that angel smiling right back at you. Or better yet, close your eyes and feel the beat of your heart. And let me ask, "what does it tell you??"

So be weary not for He is always with you. Now, that is a promise that will always be true. For real love is patient and it is kind. You may be envious at times, boastful and even proud.  You may all at once dishonor others, easily angered or be selfish in your ways. But love, well, it doesn't mind. Yes! It doesn't mind because love keeps no records of wrongs nor secrets - only upholding the truth. Because all it wants to do is protect, trust, hope, and persevere in you. Really, it only needs to do is to keep on loving you! 1Corinthians 13:4-7

Whatever you are going through day in and day out, whatever your emotions be, ask yourselves "Is this love?". Also, always ask guidance and protection from the One above. You are never alone in this journey. You never were. God has His purpose in you it stays. Although to my dismay, missed your very wedding day. Always praying for you guys with much love onward and beyond and everyday. ♥♥♥

Happily Ever After

"PUSH" is the acronym I recalled Msgr. Abacahin said during the matrimonial ceremony of my cousin and her hubby last Saturday. It means Pray Until Something Happens. I'm not quite sure if I have encountered the acronym before but I was certainly reminded that indeed, PRAYER is a powerful means to ask for and receive what you want or need to achieve. I am glad to be a witness again and again of the many blessings and revelations of God's divine providence in my life and the lives of those around me.

To Jaysz & Ann,

May the grace of our generous God be with you always. In every decision and action that you both have to take, may His enlightenment be your guide, His strength be your courage, His peace be your faithfulness so that He may fulfill His purposes in you. Together may you be blessed in faith, hope and love.

Glory to God forever! Amen.

Teen Saint Pedro in Iligan City

The Musical: Teen Saint Pedro
Since The Musical - Teen Saint Pedro was sponsored by the Couples for Christ, everyone in the community was encouraged to watch it. I wasn't actually sure if I was going to. So I didn't bother responding to text reminders about the play. I just simply forwarded it anyway. My household members didn't reply to me as well until siz Shiloh did. She said, she was interested to watch it. I thought "Great! We could watch it together as it may serve as our fellowship at the same time". So came July 27, 2013, even though I was sleepy, still out I went barging through the rain, off to Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology Gymnasium (MSU-IIT Gym) together with all the others. I was glad to see that the rain didn't stop the people from really showing up for the event.

The curtain opened and the show started around 7:30 in the evening. Teen Pedro was portrayed by Makisig Morales while Bubi Camus played the role of Padre Diego Luis de San Vitores, a Jesuit Priest. Singing together with them is the 29AD Musicionaries of Couples for Christ.

A detailed story here: The Musical: Teen Saint Pedro

After the show, I was glad to see siz Doruthee along with other St. Michael's Chapter members. I saw a couple of familiar faces from different chapters as well. Then of course, most of the people rushed to take pictures of the casts as their souvenir for the night.

It was not only a very entertaining and talent-filled event but more so, it was a moving sight. As you see, not everyone can have that conviction to really live for God. It may be easy to say but it's a very very tough choice. Then again, it is a commitment which at his young age despite the many hindrances, he faithfully joyfully chose. He made his stand. Indeed, it is true that "No martyr ever dies in vain!"

Concentrix Job Fair Caravan - Iligan City

Upon waking up earlier today, I read a text from an unregistered number which turns out to be Tonet who apparently is a Human Resource employee of Concentrix Cagayan de Oro. The message indicated that I was referred by my cousin Christine who works there. She invited me to be there at their office in Pueblo de Oro, IT Park for an interview tomorrow at 9 in the morning. I am currently in Iligan and I still have a class on Tuesday, when I happen to be the next reporter. Oh well, it is really quite far to say the least. I haven't thought much of joining the same industry again but who knows I haven't entirely close out that option also.

Later, I went to St. Michael's Cathedral church to attend the 5 o'clock mass since it is Sunday. There was a boy standing at the entrance gate giving away fliers. At first, I ignored it but then he was persistent so I just took it anyway. Who would ever guess, it was the same company again. I just might have that funny feeling it has been following me around the whole day. lol. ;p

But this time, they are coming to Iligan for their Job Fair Caravan to be held next week on July 19-20, 2013 at McDonald's Tibanga. They are eagerly looking for 200 Call Center Professionals and Other Professionals to fill up their vacancies. When I texted my cousin, she told me they are having an expansion. I see why they are looking to hire so many people.

So there, anyone looking for a job you just might want to try this job opportunity. Who knows it just might be for you! Oh by the way, there are giving away free Cheese Burger meal to the first 100 applicants.

You may call them at (088) 853-2218 or visit them at Block 2, Lot 3 Trade Street, Pueblo de Oro, IT Park, Cagayan de Oro City. You may also drop your resumes to their email address at recruitment_cdo@concentrix.com.

Check out their website: http://www.concentrix.com/careers/philippines

P.S.
Credit goes to my cousin Christine Carl Go. You may mention her name during the application if you like. Thanks!

Enjoy your job hunt and God bless! ;p
